## Indications:

Olmesartan 40mg and Cilnidipine 10mg is indicated for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) in adults. It is used to lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.

## Mechanism of Action:

Olmesartan Medoxomil is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist (ARB) that blocks the action of angiotensin II, a potent vasoconstrictor, at its receptor. This leads to vasodilation and a decrease in blood pressure. Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker that inhibits the influx of calcium ions into vascular smooth muscle cells and cardiac muscle cells, resulting in vasodilation and a decrease in blood pressure.
